Matt Baker
proprietor of The Flatwoods Diner strums his guitar for a publicity photo to show off the new back drop he and "Lewis" designed for the stage where Friday evening, August 31, 2012, at sometime between 4:30pm-5pmCT, excitement will reach a fever pitch when Baker - or maybe "Lewis" - will announce, "Ladies and Gentleman, give a big Flatwoods welcome to the incomparable Mackie Joe Pennington and Jan Overstreet." The two have gained quite a following at the popular South Adair County nightspot. Baker occasionally performs himself, but enjoys the role, most, of running the sound board and controlling the lights.
