Robert Wadlow visits Main Street in Campbellsville, KY ca 1940
2013-12-04 - 105 East Block of Main Street, Campbellsville, KY - Photo From collection of Larry Smith. Robert Wadlow, the world's tallest man, visited Campbellsville in 1940, the same year Wadlow died just a short while later. Lerman's was located just two buildings east of The Big Dawg Studio on Main Street. I've heard Wadlow also visited Columbia, maybe in that same year. As I've heard it, he was doing promotional work for a shoe company, which, in turn was visiting stores in the old Lerman's chain, headquartered Shelbyville. It would be nice to hear from other people who have information on Wadlow. - Larry Smith, Operations Manager, Shoreline Communications

Hailey keeps the household running
2013-12-04 - Shelby Co., KY - Photo by PEN. Hailey's pretty persnickety about housekeeping, even with her primary HR work keeping two older brothers organized. Her Columbia Granddad and Columbia Mema are very proud of her. The rest of the extended family seems right pleased with her, too. - Granddad, Ed Waggener.
