Scenic Taylor Co., KY: Alley makeover complete

2013-07-17 - Downtown Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Larry Smith, The Big Dawg.

Alley work is now complete
just up the street from 99.9 The Big Dawg. This view is from E Main Street, across E First Street, and, beyond, across Broadway to the CVS drug store. This Alley has a cooling water feature in the foreground, an old fashioned street light, and arches on both entrances. It's cool, too, that while it gives a very casual appearance, a lot of thought has gone into making it people friendly - for instance, the retaining walls are seat level height. It's a reminder that when you come to downtown Campbellsville, pass by The Big Dawg, give me a wave, and remember to bring your camera. Downtown Campbellsville is a photographer's dream. Everywhere you look there's a photo. - Larry Smith, Operations Manager, Shoreline Communications.
