Judge Loy, New PVA family and predecessor

His wife, Donna, served as Adair County PVA throughout most of the elder Feese's tenure.

Judge Michael Loy swears in new Adair PVA, Jeff Feese


2014-05-01 - Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. District Judge Michael Loy administered the oath of office for Jeff Feese to be the new Adair County PVA. Feese was appointed April 30, 2014, by Governor Steve Beshear to succeed his father, Wm. M. Feese, Jr, who retired the same day. In the interim, Ben Williams, an official of the Kentucky Department of Revenue, served as Adair County's PVA. Jeff Feese is the only candidate for the post on the ballot in this year's election. The ceremony above took place just after 1pmCT, Thursday, May 1, 2014.

Garry Coomer is in 44th year at Lindsey Wilson College


2014-05-01 - Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Garry Coomer was Downtown today. A youthful 63, Coomer entered his 44th year on April 14, 2014, as an employee of Lindsey Wilson College, the longest tenure of any at the institution. A street on the campus, Garry Coomer Drive, is named in his honor. Coomer is a special aid to Mike Newton, Director of Plant Operations at LWC.
