Beautiful Church Art at Centenary United Methodist Church

2014-06-01 - 429 Main St, Shelbyville, KY 40065 - Photo By Linda Waggener, CM Photo. Every time we visit this church we are a bit awed by the exquisite art in the sanctuary. If not a word were spoken, if not a hymn were sung, the beauty of the interior is a fulfilling experience in itself; it was for us, even if we were not there for a church service, but to our Evan's progress. We thought it a fitting photo for this beautiful June Sunday morning in Columbia, KY. Where we also celebrate the vibrant life of Downtown churches - the eight congregations which are thriving here, offering not only spiritual comfort, but architectural splendor to the streetscape, as well. 2014-05-31 - Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Peg Schaeffer.
Will, our Beagle/Corgi/Boxer mix puppy "Will," was kid-tested at the Farmers Market on the Square, Saturday, May 31, 2014, and is available for adoption. Will was very contented being held by attentive puppy tester Phoenix McDaniel, who took time away from his duties as a greeter at his grandfather's Coview Farms shop at the market to help with the puppies. If you'd like to adopt this wonderful puppy, call Peg Schaeffer at Sugarfoot Farm Rescue. 270-378-4521 or 270-634-4675.
