The Bell in the Historic Adair County Courthouse

2014-07-11 - 500 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo By Ed Waggener.
Not much provenance here at CM so we're depending on knowledgeable readers to help supply information on the huge bell in the belfry under the clocktower in the Historic Adair County Courthouse. We'd like to know when it was made, by whom, information on ringer mechanisms, when the bell was last regular ly rung, and how it was used to sound alarms. -CM
