Hailey, hard at work for CM

2014-07-27 - E Fortune Street, Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener.
Readers may have notice a slower Saturday for CM, but that's over, thanks to the help from Hailey, who provided catch up work on Saturday, July 26, 2014. Besides the iPod, older brother, the ABC's, enumeration to 13, Hailey has already become a telephony superstar - providing animated conversations more entertaining than any Lily Tomlin or Bob Newhart ever had - especially when there's no one on the other end of the line. Hailey's help should be evident in today's bigger than usual Sunday with CM. - Granddad

The Rademachers at FM2, July 26, 2014.

2014-07-27 - Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo CM Staff Photo.
While Chris Rademacher, right, shows off the gift her husband Roy Rademacher had just purchased from Sandy Evert at S.T.E, her husband, Columbia Planning & Zoning Commissioner Roy Rademacher, acknowledged compliments on his husbandship from fellow P & Z Commissioner George Kolbenschlag, off camera. For the Rademachers, who live only a few blocks away, the Farmers Market on the Square is a weekly destination. For visitors and vendors alike, yesterday's market seemed to be as nearly ideal as possible, a perfect day for the weekly fair on the square, now a recognized Foodie Destination by Bon Apetit Applachia (and one of only 48, including restaurants and other food venues, in Kentucky).

This bad boy was on the door when we come in from the shop last night . . . they are in The Holler everywhere, but they still give me the willies. - Shamarie Claiborne. (While our otherwise fearless photographer recovers from the willies, will somebody please send an ID with judgment on why the Creator put them here, edibility/recipes, phobia factors, et cetera, et cetera. - CM)
