Volunteer and now Summer Ranger for the Corps, David Goode left, and Summer Ranger Gary Curry were filling up the dumpster with trash removed from the shoreline of the lake at the 2013 Lakeshore Cleanup in a dumpster donated by Waste Management of Campbellsville, KY. The 28th Annual Volunteer Lakeshore Cleanup will be held on Saturday September 20, 2014 this year. Last year, over 500 volunteered. More are needed for the 2014 drive. Organization is underway now. And Boat Drivers are urgently needed. The Green River Lakeshore clean up grows each year. Last year, more than 500 volunteers came to help, but they were handicapped by lack of boats to get them to and from clean designations.
