Kitten doctors make house call

2014-09-13 - E Fortune Street, Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener.
Kitten 'doctors' Mitzi Bault, left, and Lois Cunningham, came to the rescue this morning to help the kitten in Lois' arms heal from an eye infection. The little kitten, named One, was the only survivor of it's mother's first birthing about six weeks ago. She is terrified of humans so it was a tough job to rescue the little kitten and get him medicated. Mitzi and Lois help rescue pets in need regularly. They reminded us to share the news that senior citizens over 65 who rescue cats can stop by the Chamber of Commerce office, 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia, KY, for a voucher for free spaying at Dr. Coffey's veterinary clinic on Hurt Street. Both advocate responsible pet ownership. - Linda Waggener Paired photo. See also: Health Update: The little kitten is doing well
