(Ad) Harrison Moss, candidate for Sheriff, Adair Co., KY
2014-09-18 - Columbia, KY - Photo Campaign photo.
To the great citizens and voters of Adair County:
My name is Harrison Moss and I am the incumbent candidate for Adair County Sheriff.
I have been married to Mrs. Shirley Dulworth Moss for 32 years this year. We have one son, Matthew Harrison Moss, whose wife is Tessa Primm Moss. Their son and our grandson is Matthew Edward Harrison Moss. We are expecting grandchild #2 in December. I am very proud to have a Christian family.
When I campaigned for Sheriff in 2010, I remember the promises I made: To be Honest, Fair, Dependable; to Stand against all crime and criminal activity, to follow all leads, to serve all Adair Countians and to have a productive and efficient Sheriff's Office. These promises have been fulfilled. Our door is always open. It is our job to assist you and we are glad to do so.
Our activity has increased tremendously. We have had three deputies academy trained since 2011. Now all deputies are academy trained. We have deputies on duty or on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our projected required yearly training is focused on the needs of each deputy and myself to better serve the county.
While our budget is very strenuous, we have never gone over our budget. We have a good working relationship with all local Law Enforcement Agencies, as well as all surrounding county agencies. It is very important to maintain these relationships as we are all striving to make our County Safer for all that live here.
Our Deputies, staff and myself strive daily to provide a fair, honest, and efficient Sheriff's Office for the citizens of Adair County.
I will protect and uphold our Constitutional Right to keep and bear arms. I am a member of the Kentucky Sheriffs Association and the National Sheriff Association. I will not participate in negative or deceitful campaign tactics. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free as always to contact me at any time.
It is time once again for you the voters of Adair County to decide who will serve you as your Sheriff for the next 4 years. I ask you to please consider my record and experience in the position of Sheriff when you make your decision. I humbly ask for your vote and support. I will try to see as many of you as possible; if I don't see you, please know that I would appreciate your vote on November 4, 2014, and your vote for me will be for continued Honesty, Integrity, and Dependability in your Sheriff's Office.
Thank you.
- Sheriff Harrison Moss
Paid for by the candidate, Harrison Moss
