Funeral procession two blocks long - more are other queues

2014-09-24 - Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY - Photo By Ed Waggener. A huge crowd is in Columbia, KY, today, with first response vehicles from all over Kentucky - as far away as Paducah - and vehicles have been reported spotted from Indiana, Tennessee, Georgia, and even Washington, DC. One of the largest number of media organizations ever in Columbia are present. With the crowds of mourners far exceeding the seating capacity of the Columbia Christian Church, far more are standing outside than inside. Spectators, including those on the roof of the Adair County Judicial Center, are finding vantage points wherever possible. The vehicles here are from Campbellsville, Breeding and Adair County Fire Departments and EMS organizations, who make up only a small fraction of the first response units taking part.
