Fall colors for 2014 are expected to peak around the end of October, but as they do, Columbia visitors should be aware of some special sprucing up the City of Columbia, at the direction of Mayor Harris and City Clerk Rhonda Loy initiated, coordinated with the Adair County Garden Club, one of, if not the, most giving civic organizations of all.

School Board Approves 2014-2015 budget

Early Risers - The Adair County School Board met in a special called meeting Tuesday morning at 8:30amCT, 30 Sep 2014 to approve a $28,352,589.29 working budget for Fiscal Year 2015, to approve a Race to the Top trip to Salt Lake City, UT, for Superintendent Alan Reed (at no expense to the District) and to renew the contract with Health Resources Insurance for Dental Care and Avesis or Eye Care, at same rates as last year.
