PUPPY POWER - Lindsey Wilson College student Haven Hernandez of Glasgow, KY, plays with three puppies from Green River Animal Shelter Wednesday morning, 09 Oct 2014, on the college’s Campus Quadrangle. The puppies were brought to campus as part of the "Puppy Pit," a project by the LWC Student Government Association to help the college’s students release stress during midterm examinations week. LWC SGA President Jonathan Joseph said his administration came up with the program after reading an article that suggests spending time with puppies is a good way to release stress. Tractor Supply Company of Columbia provided the two pens, which were open to LWC students, faculty and staff for five-and-one-half hours. - DUANE BONIFER, LWC.
