ACMS: Invented Instruments
2014-10-10 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Shamarie Claiborne. Shamarie writes, "Mr. Martin's students in Adair County Middle School's eighth grade music class have been inventing and then creating instruments as part of their classroom work. Shown here displaying two of their creations are Sydney Kimbler, with her fully functioning guitar, and Joseph Fuller, whose drum was made from a cut log and sticks. Mr. Martin wanted to mention a few other students with exceptional invented instruments, including Baylor Giles, Jaylen Holmes, Christian Wright, and Sydney Slaven. We hope Mr. Martin keeps inspiring and helping to instill a love for music in our students' hearts."
