(Ad) Lisa Greer, Republican candidate, Adair County Clerk
2014-10-14 - Columbia, KY - Photo Campaign photo.
To the Citizens of Adair County:
It is a pleasure and honor to introduce myself, Lisa Greer as your Republican Candidate for County Clerk:
I am married to Phillip Greer (son of Wesley and Frances Greer) and together we have 4 children, a son-in-law, and two grandchildren. Phillip and I both grew up and continue to reside in Knifley. My parents Gordon and Jewel (Neat) Brown taught me the importance of having good family morals and values, to always put God first, to stand by commitments made to others and to persevere and remain dedicated in spite of difficulty. As your County Clerk, I pledge the same dedication to the citizens of Adair County.
The County Clerk's Office is a Fee Office which is run by the County Clerk, with some KRS required approvals from the Fiscal Court. The county clerk's office is much more than motor vehicle registration, it entails numerous hours of dedication and work to provide the services that Adair County citizens need in a Clerk's Office. As your County Clerk I feel I could personally provide these services to the citizens of Adair County.
As your next Clerk I will:
- Keep the office open a half day on Saturdays
- Keep the same experienced office staff
- Strive daily to provide essential services in a friendly, efficient and ethical manner
- Commit to providing the citizens of Adair County the most effective and friendly services possible; all within the confines of Kentucky laws
- Have an open door policy; will welcome any and all suggestions
- Utilize my experience of writing grants to seek additional funding to improve the current website and other components within the clerk's office
- Use my fifteen years of experience in county government toward improving the Clerk's Office to assist the citizens of Adair County
During the Primary I had the pleasure of meeting numerous citizens of Adair County and made many new friends. Presently, I continue to daily strive after work and on Saturdays to see as many as possible before November 4th. While, I know it is not possible to see everyone, I want to take this opportunity to once again humbly ask for your consideration and vote on November 4th as the next County Clerk of Adair County.
Thank you,
Lisa Greer
