The Simcoe Dockery Monument which dominates the memorials in the Jamestown City Cemetery, Jim writes in the accompanying history, came in three pieces - base, pedestal, and stele - by rail to Burnside, by river to Dunbar's Landing, and then overland to its present location. The pedestal, under the flowers above is inscribed "Simcoe Dockery/Dec. 29, 1994/Oct.3, 1914/An Honest and Successful Man/Honored and Respected by His Fellow Men. SIMCOE DOCKERY"
