Priceless Buggy seat will benefit St. Jude's

"Hand crafted cherry buggy seat bench with wrought iron accents" Chris Wilson wrote, will be auctioned Saturday, 1 Nov 2013, at 10amCT, at his Oran & Jan Foley Auction, 1360 Frontage Road, Russell Springs, KY 42642. Asked about the value and description, he writes, 'This hand crafted item is so unique, I would have to call it 'priceless!' It's so rare, I haven't sold one. It is solid cherry with wrought iron railing and full back." Proceeds from the sale will benefit St. Jude's.

Ken Stein will be Veterans Day recitalist at Ransdell Chapel

Since the program takes place on Veterans Day, Stein will be performing Edward Elgar’s For the Fallen. In addition he will play Anne Wilson’s Toccata, and Franz Liszt’s Prelude and Fugue on B.A.C.H. Joan C. McKinney

ACHS Ambassadors doing their part for Celebrate My Drive

The Adair County High School Student Ambassadors are doing their part to help promote and support the State Farm 2N2 Commitment Contest. The contest is being used to help create public awareness for students to always have 2 eyes on the road, and 2 hands on the wheel. They ACHS Ambassadors decided for their generation the best avenue was social media. So they created selfies with their promotion shirts on and then posted reminders to friends and family. They are a pretty good crew and include Hannah Absher, Ashley Bragg, Brandon Burton, Isaac Carter, Spencer Claypool, Katherine Curry, Sara Dunbar, Kayla Garrison, Kaitlyn Grant, Linsey Grant, Austin Hatcher, Chloe Hixson, Kelsie Keltner, Beth Owens, Kassidy Roy, Cole Schmidt, Makayla Smith, and Lauren Talley.
