Larry Smith: Very early picture of the Alhambra

2014-11-11 - E Main Street, Campbellsville, KY - Photo from collection of Larry Smith.
This is a very early picture of the Alhambra Theater
, must have been before or around 1920, because the big movie posters are for Hoot Gibson westerns. Haven't been able to find out any names of the men lined up in front, or the pretty little girl, but that would have been interesting. The little alley on the left goes between the Alhambra and the Citizens Bank Building. -Larry Smith, Operation Manager, Shoreline Communications Paired Photo. Topside: Clocktower & daytime moon, Historic Adair Courthouse

2014-11-11 - Topside, the World above The Holler - Photo by Shamarie Claiborne, Adair Co. School District.
Coming around the Square Monday morning . . . looked up and saw what I thought was an awesome shot. Drove around the square again and pulled over at snapped one. Glad I didn’t have to make that third time around . . . always heard that was illegal. Would hate to get a ticket while taking a picture. Maybe CM could talk them out of it for me. - Shamarie Claiborne. (Does anyone know the law? Is it illegal to make three circle around the Square? Reply using the Comments button with this photo if you know. - CM)
