ADAIR Band Convoy headed north to B o A

After a last practice at Lindsey Wilson's Blue Raider Stadium, the ADAIR Band convoy was escorted through Columbia in chartered coaches on a quest to add a third Bands of America National Championship. The band won in 2005 and 2007. Next stop along the way is Elizabethtown, KY, for lunch, and then up I-65 to Lucas Oil Stadium 500 S Capitol, Indianapolis, IN.

Birds of Kentucky: Houseboating not just for Holmes Bend

Dale Morrison of the Five Morrison Bros. fame, provides this Bird Boat House is anchored on Morrison's spread, somewhere South of Columbia. Birds were uncooperative on the day the photo was taken, but they do utilize the house, as a vacation/honeymoon place, not as a permanent home. - CM
