Clifty Creek Farms Kiko Does on cliff

2014-11-22 - Clifty CreeK Farm - Photo by Donna Rieder.
These are my Kiko doe-goats, in the caves above Big Clifty Creek, summer of 2014. They lounge in the caves during the heat of the day, chewing their cuds, and use them for shelter when it rains, oblivious to the sheer 30' drop to the creek below. - DONNA RIEDER

Spotlight on: Jessica Mays, new teacher at ACHS

2014-11-21 - 526 Indian DR, Columbia, KY - Photo by Shamarie Claiborne.
Jessica Mays, one of Adair County Schools new teachers this year, has proven herself to be without question - one in-a-million! She teaches Arts and Humanities and is resurrecting the choral program at Adair County High School. Oh yeah, did I mention she is also an Assistant Band Director during Marching Season? Then in her spare time she is constantly knitting. She made the beautiful hat and scarf she has on in this picture. Both the ACHS students and band students love her and we are all hoping she stays with us, for a very long time. Be keeping an eye out for information on her choral groups next performance!
