These horses, who now represent the last suggestion of the once great Adair County Derby may not have understood why there were no happy little riders yesterday, Sat 22 Nov 2014 - on a unexpectedly beautiful fall day. Probably wouldn't realize that there was so much happening in Columbia nobody was thinking of them. They are part of the City Park playground inside the Adari County Fairground. Where inviting benches are available, and a teeter-totter/seesaw (??? or is it ???) like they didn't have at Columbia Graded & High School, back when Ralph Roy was a boy.
