Commissioner Comer, Rep Carney tour school

With new welding equipment as a backdrop: Agriculture Commissioner, James Comer; Barney Taylor, Welding Instructor; Alan Reed, Supt.; Mr. Kirby Hancock and Mr. Randy Rexroat, Vocational Agriculture teachers now; St. Rep. John "Bam" Carney; Darryl McGaha, and Lake Cumberland Area Development District (LCADD). The group toured the new Lake Cumberland Technology Satellite Center on the campus of Adair County High School. Adair County has seen enrollment in welding studies jump from four when the training meant a bus trip to Russell Springs to over 100 in the fall semester of 2014, Supt. Reed said. .

Randall L. Wilkinson- fled trailer, but apprehended

Investigators developed information that led them to believe that James D. Polston and Randall L. Wilkinson were at a trailer on KY 127, south of Albany. Upon arrival, Wilkinson, left, fled from the trailer on foot and was apprehended. The two men had been sought by authorities in connection with the shooting death of Anthony Hargis in Clinton County, Monday evening, November 24, 2014.

James D. Polston - dead of apparent self-inflicted gunshot wounds


2014-11-25 - Albany, Clinton Co. KY - Photo from Kentucky State Police.
Investigators developed information that led them to believe that James D. Polston and Randall L. Wilkinson were at a trailer on KY 127, south of Albany. Upon arrival, Wilkinson fled from the trailer on foot and was apprehended. The Kentucky State Police Special Response Team also responded to the scene and through the use of a mobile robot and camera, were able to get into the trailer and locate James D. Polston, left, lying in the floor of the residence, dead from an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound. Polston had been sought by authorities in connection with the shooting death of Anthony Hargis in Clinton County, Monday evening, November 24, 2014.
