Thanksgiving leftovers

2014-11-29 - Columbia, KY - Photo (c) ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Thanksgiving is almost always better the next day. There was pea salad, cranberry sauce, corn, fried sweet potatoes, and grapes after the company had been fed, and turkey salad make with celery, sweet onions, and grapes. The only thing better might have been turkey hash, made the way mother used to make it. At her house, there were always buttered and toasted left over biscuit and absolutely the most moist dressing any of her children have ever eaten. Maybe someone will share a recipe of their turkey hash, and a picutre. One thing which was never left over - at her house or ours - the oyster casserole/scalloped oyster dish a requisite for every Thanksgiving and Christmas, but that's another story. - EW
