Here is the photo of my great grandparents, Eddie and Minnie Ross, the ones mentioned in the accompanying article. I considered that because we are not 'local' the picture might have not interest. On second thought, I enjoy vintage photos without knowing the families. Perhaps my photo and story will nudge someone to go through an old album or to write down remembered details to share with another generation. - Sharon Whitehurst

The community event - the second time the LWC choral program has sponsored it - attracted a crowd that packed the church's sanctuary. Christmas Card Time!!!
My Brother-in- law Luey Luttrell and my mom have for many years competed in getting the most Christmas cards and make the most joyful time out of it.Luey is now in St. Joe's Hospital and is very sick and needing everyone's prayers.
Besides loving tractors and the outdoor work, he loves Thanksgiving turkey, dressing and don't forget the round red stuff - cranberry sauce.
And then it's Christmas, and he loves getting Christmas cards so much.
I love him like a brother and if it be possible I would like to ask all my friends to fill his heart with joy of getting Christmas Cards this year from you, mailed to:

Lindsey Wilson College Director of Choral Programs Gerald Chafin conducts George Frederic Handel's Messiah during the Messiah-Sing Tuesday night at Columbia Baptist Church.
