Dr. Tim Smith, CEO of the Institute for Aerospace Education, soon to be the National Aerospace Institute, presented this graphic to show how the Aerospace program works in member schools. Students start out exploring all fields, then are trained in multiple areas, and make a decision in the junior year of chosen pathway. In the senior year, six hours of dual/college credit and industry certifications can be earned. A huge plus is that the dual credit hours are free.
