Schools participating in the Institute for Aerospace Education

The Air & Space Institute coming to Adair County High School in 2015-2016 will benefit from a consortium of colleges participating in the Institute of Aerospace Education (IAE). Students in the program can obtain up to six hours of dual High School/College credits at no cost except tuition at some of the schools above: Northern Kentucky University, Kentucky State University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Morehead State University, the University of Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky University, Middle Tennessee, and, right close to home, Somerset Community College, a KCTCS school. Scenic Adair Co., KY: A pretty vista from the Columbia By Pass

This view is near the entrance to the Adair County High School Football Stadium. Couldn't make out distant building, upper left, but it would seem to be at the Columbia/Adair County Airport, soon to play an integral part in the just annnounced Adair County High School Air & Space Institute.

The restaurant and the owners home next door traditionally have one of South Central Kentucky's most spectacular displays of Christmas lights. This year's display appears to be the biggest yet.
