Fred, best dog at Sugarfoot Farm, available for adoption

2015-01-18 - Sugarfoot Farm Rescue, 860 Sparksville Road, Columbia, KY - Photo by Peg Schaeffer.
Meet Fred. He's probably the BEST dog we have here right now. I think he gets overlooked because he's just a plain dog. He's not a fancy breed, extra large or extra small. He's not fluffy. He's just a dog of no special breed. He's well behaved, gentle, kind, great with kids - he NEVER does anything wrong. He loves to go for rides and sits quietly. Whenever people come to the farm looking for a dog to adopt Fred walks up to them and quietly wags his tail. It's almost like he's saying "please adopt me, I'm a good dog" Because he's such a good dog he needs a great home where he can be part of the family. He's young, maybe 1-2 years old, has been neutered and is up to date with his shots. He will be microchipped when adopted. If you want a great dog and can offer him a forever, loving home please call Peg Schaeffer at Sugarfoot Farm Rescue. 270-378-4521. - PEG

The power company didn't take long to show up and get the plane down. It didn't take long for them to show up and get it down. Kai'Den was a very happy boy. We would like to thank Mr. Franklin and the linemen for helping our son get his airplane out of the electric line. T. Ingermann. The incident occurred on Tuesday, while school was out. Paired photo. Epicurean Kentuckian: Pan fried Chicken Viennies - Mexican tea

2015-01-17 - EK Kitchen - Photo CM staff photo.
A Philospher Acquaintance has this to say about eating: "Eating is about getting full. If you want a can of hominy, and that will fill you up, that's what you eat." After eating a $80 meal for two, he sometimes has miser's remorse, and tells his spouse, a normal person, that they could have been just as full eating two cans of Chicken Viennies and $78 better off. His recipe is to Pan Fry to a Golden, Crispy Brown. The EK stole the recipe, and they were right tasty - and filling. Ours were enhanced with a glass of Mexican Corona Tea, iced and salted, spritzed with a little fresh-from-Walmart lime juice. The tasty little morsels were elegantly served on saltine quarters, fixed up with authentic's Franks. - EK
