Larry Smith photo: Taylor Co. Judicial Center in snow
2015-01-24 - 300 E Main Street, Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Larry Smith, The Big Dawg, 99.9 Radio. First Baptist Church steeple in the snow
2015-01-24 - Corner of Burkesville Street & Grady Loop, Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener. It was snow time in technicolor at First Baptist Church, peering through the landmark red cedars at clouds and blue sky, and the steeple and stain glass this morning, Saturday, January 24, 2015. From any angle First Baptist is one of my favorite Columbia scenes. - LW

George Rice: God's been re-decorating again
2015-01-24 - KY 551 looking eastward toward the great county of Egypt, Adair Co., KY - Photo by George Rice. God has been decorating the earth again. It's awesome to watch God redecorating as he brings out the green leaves and grass in the spring and the many different colors in the fall and then with the snow in the winter with every snow flakes being different. Who could do all this but God? - George Rice Photo taken January 24, 2015.

Birthday Snow in Shelbyville
2015-01-24 - Shelbyville, KY - Photo by Pen. Hailey Waggener, who turns 3 tomorrow, wanted snow for her birthday. It had been looking unlikely until yesterday, when the narrow band of weather stalled in just the right place to put about 5 inches of white powder on the ground overnight. Hailey is the granddaughter of Ed and Linda Waggener of Columbia, KY.

Eager dandelion with its feelings hurt, 24 Jan 2015
2015-01-24 - 200 Block, W Monroe Street, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Spotted this guy a couple of days ago on a run for early crocus. Turns out, Dandelions are more enthusiastic heralds of spring. The blossom showed up on Thursday, January 22, 2014, but the digital proof was aborted by a faulty photographer. This morning, the wilted dandelion was still adding color. - CM
