Pretty Polly available (Today) for adoption at Sugarfoot Rescue

2015-01-25 - Sugarfoot Farm Rescue, 860 Sparksville Road, Columbia, KY - Photo by Peg Schaeffer.
Meet Pretty Polly Above Polly and her brother, Joker, were dropped off in our buffer zone 2 weeks ago. They have the softest coats. They are mixed breed, probably Spaniel and maybe Border Collie. They are about 3 months old. As you can see Polly will be a big help around the house with mopping. (She's in front of the mop, if the camera tricks you eye) They are both very friendly and love to be around people. They have been wormed and had their first vaccines. If you are looking for a puppy come and meet Polly and Joker. Call Sugarfoot Farm Rescue 270-378-4521, Today!. We are open 7 days a week from 11am to 4pmCT! We appreciate it if you call before you come so we can be watching for you. -Peg Schaeffer

First Baptist Church steeple in the snow

2015-01-24 - Corner of Burkesville Street & Grady Loop, Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener.
It was snow time in technicolor at First Baptist Church, peering through the landmark red cedars at clouds and blue sky, and the steeple and stain glass this morning, Saturday, January 24, 2015. From any angle First Baptist is one of my favorite Columbia scenes. - LW
