Local Trivia: How would you quickly know where? 2015-02-15 - Somewhere in Adair, Casey, Cumberland, Green, Metcalfe Russell and Taylor Counties of S Central Kentucky - Photo CM staff photo. To many, the crossing is immediately recognizable. For those taking a look at it and guessing where it is, the presence of a Main Street in this county seat eliminates Adair County (though Columbia once had a Main Street - need help from a historian on that) , and there are other county seats in the 7-County area with no Church Street (Columbia, of course, has one). This is just a self test in the Know Your Counties Better subject. Comments, welcome, on how you arrived at Burkesville, KY, as the location. Maybe the style of the letters, and maybe - if it's so - that only Burkesville has an intersection "N.
