Lindsey Wilson College freshman Ashley Johnson of Nabb, IN, nails a two-point field goal in the first half of Saturday's game at St. Catharine (KY) College. Johnson finished with five points, and No. 19-ranked LWC beat St. Catharine 74-53 to improve to 19-6 overall and 7-4 in the Mid-South Conference. The Blue Raiders' final two home games of the season are this week at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY, at 6pmCT, Thursday, February 12, 2014 against Georgetown (KY) College and 2pmCT, Saturday, February 14, 2015, against No. 22-ranked Shawnee State (Portsmouth, Ohio) University. - DUANE BONIFER.

Dream Depot and friends event raises over $6,000

The Dream Depot crew sang their hearts out for their friend Elaine Bennett Saturday night before a caring crowd. As the performances were coming to a close the total raised to help Elaine with medical expenses was over $6,000. After-event contributions may be made at United Citizens Bank to the account "Elaine Bennett Donations." In this photo, all voices on stage and in the audience joined to close the show with their classic "Oh, Happy Day!"
