Darryl assisted Chelsey Solomon with the sale of half price spay/neuter certificates at Day & Day Feed on Saturday, February 28, 2015. We sold 19 certificates for dogs and 9 certificates for cats. Madeline Stephenson, 1 of 2 KY Spirit of Community winners

Madeline Stephenson, Burkesville Kentucky, is one of two statewide Kentucky recipients of the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards for 2015. The Spirit of Community Award is a nationwide program honoring young people for outstanding acts of volunteerism. It is conducted by the Prudential Financial in cooperation with the National Association of Secondary School Principals. Madeline was nominated by Cumberland County High School in Burkesville, KY. A junior at Cumberland County High School, Madeline brightens the lives of hospitalized children twice a week when she wheels her toy cart through the halls of a a local hospital and allows each child to select a toy to keep. Madeline is the daughter of Dr. & Mrs. John G. Stephenson of Burkesville, KY and the granddaughter of Dr. J.M. Stephenson and the late Hazel Bybee Stephenson.
