Moving the Tebb's Bend Bridge on Tebbs Bend RD, Taylor Co. KY

Larry Smith took photos at the Tebbs Bend Bridge site on Valentine's Day. The bridge flooring is out, and the crane is in place for removal of the structure sometime in the next few day. The old bridge will be moved to a site nearby, and a structure with a similar appearance will be put in it's place. The work is being done by the Taylor County Fiscal Court. CJE Eddie Rogers is a huge support of the Tebbs Bend area and the Homeplace on Green River. Thanks to Judge Rogers and members of the Taylor Fiscal court are James Jones (1), John Gaines (2), Tommy Corbin (3), Matt Pendleton (4), Ed Gorin (5), Richard Phillips (6) (The Heart of It All/Campbellsville-Taylor County governement website) and a historical preservation advocacy groups, this big piece of history will be perpetuated.
