Blizzard of 16 Feb 2015: the Rollen Coomer Bridge

2015-02-18 - Johnson School Road, Gadberry/Fairplay, KY - Photo by Charles Marshburn.
Charles Marshburn frequently refers to this as an Ugly Bridge because it's listed on that list as one needing repairs. It's a county bridge, and, so far as we know, doesn't have an official name. In our minds it will forever be the Rollen Coomer bridge, above, beautifully paved with several inches of snow, and beautifully rendered by photographer Charles Marshburn.

Blizzard of 16 Feb 2015: Global Warming Results from Gadberry

2015-02-18 - Greater Gadberry, KY - Photo by Charles Marshburn.
Have love these guys. Have to love this photo. Know from a distance they are equine, so we'll call them 'Horses in the snow.' The photographer is given to being taciturn, so we're not sure at this distance, what equine church or denomination these belong to - and will humbly submit to the scathing derision some knowledgeable horse/mule/donkey/mare S/A sends and will welcome a respectful reminder of what they are. We appreciate it when we all remember we neither share the same genius or ignorance. - EW
