Sidewalks and parking lot were clean as spring at Kellyville Church


2015-02-22 - Kellyville Community Church, 77 Kellyville, KY in Coburg Community of Adair County. . When snow falls, congregation members at Kellyville Community Church in the Coburg community of Adair County get to the church will snow shovels, tractors, and front end loaders to clear the parking lot and side walks. This is what church members found this morning when they arrived for services. The church will hold evening services at 6pmCT, Sun 22 Feb 2015. Normal attendance is around 50. Sunday morning, the attendance was approximately 80, about two-thirds of the usual 120 who regularly attend.

We Care cookbooks help raise funds for local charity

We Care charity organization was founded in Burkesville, KY, when a family member was battling cancer. It hit the family out of the blue and money was raised to help move them back home where there would be help around the clock. In the photo are charity founder Hazel Willis Smith and Johnny Sells, her friend and co-fundraiser. Family of Dr. Zachariah Taylor Gabbert

This picture is taken at his home in Casey Creek. From left: Lunsford Yandall Gabbert, Alma Gertrude Gabbert (my grandmother), Mont Robertson Gabbert, Mary Louise Gabbert, Lorena Grace Gabbert, Frank Gabbert. Missing is another son, Fordyce gabbert also an MD, Seated is Dr. Zachary T. Gabbert. Both he and Fordyce died in 1934. Zachariah's wife Agatha Robertson Gabbert had died in 1927. - ROBERT KOCH, Brier, WA
