ADOPTED: Little Border Collie needs someone to give it lots of love

HAPPY ENDING: She's been adopted. This little border collie mix is so sad and scared at the shelter. She needs someone who will give her lots of love and attention. $50 adoption fee pays for her spaying. Jessica Hagan, Columbia, KY, was operating this 2004 Ford Taurus on Sunday, March 15, 2015, which was struck by a 2013 Ford Fiesta operated by Lester Crosswhite of Lebanon, KY. Above, Lynn Franklin makes a final check before leaving the car in the storage age. Jessica's father, Bro. Jesse Hagan, is an employee of Lynn's. All four occupants of the car were taken to Westlake Regional Hospital.

Sue Stivers brings message from Chamber to Eunice gathering

Sue Stivers, Executive Director of the Columbia/Adair County Chamber of Commerce, spoke at the Eunice Church of God Black History Program, held Sunday, March 15, 2015. She talked about memories of coming to Eunice Church of God years ago and eating BBQ, and remembered, as a girl coming to Eunice with her family, because in her hometown in Russell County, there weren't many African-American families. Her family, she said, taught her to love all people, regardless of ethnicity. - Marjorie Payne
