Carnivorous Squirrel: A taste of Kentucky BBQ
2015-02-26 - Shelbyville, KY - Photo by Pen. Wikipedia says that "Predatory behavior has been noted by various species of ground squirrels," but it's usually limited to insects and smaller snakes and rodents. But this is the first documented case that we could find of a squirrel with a taste for Kentucky BBQ. We're moderately concerned that a poorly closed garbage can and the remnants of an order of ribs from Will's Grill in Simpsonville may have led to a dangerous transformation in the tastes of the local rodent population.
