ACMS history students participate in 42nd Annual History Exam

On Friday, March 20, 2014, Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Wells took 20 of the top 8th grade ACMS history students to Bowling Green, KY, in order to compete in the 42nd Annual WKU History Exam. Students who participated: Trevor Smith, Easton Downs, Chloe Clark, Jailyn Janes, Austin Burress, Aiyana Pearson, Chris Stuchell, Trevor Pelston, Sydney Slaven, Matthew Scheyer, Tina Kessinger, Natalie Taylor, Kendyl Hardin, Jaiden Taylor, Kyron Burton, Christian Wright, Sean Johnson, Alex Lara, Chandler Wisdom and Elizabeth Jenkins. - Shamarie Claiborne

Adair County High School headed for State competition
 2015-03-24 - Eastern Kentucky University, Richmond, KY - Photo from Shamarie Claiborne, Media Publicity Director, AC School District. Adair County High School's Future Business Leaders of America had another successful year, and the chapter is heading back to State Competition. They will be competing at KY State Conference for FBLA in Louisville, KY at the Galt House on April 20-22, 2015. At FBLA Six Regional Competition this past Friday, March 13, 2015, at EKU, Elija Jackson placed in two different categories: Computer Problem Solving 3rd place and Digital Video Production 2nd place. Lawrence Glandorf and Leonardo Media Were also on the Digital Video Production team and placed second. ACHS won 2nd place in Sports and Entertainment Management with competitors being Andrew Grant and Noah Polston. Also, ACHS Placed in Management Decision Making with Grant Cockerham, Daniel Corbin, and Cole Schmidt winning third place. All of the other participants that competed in this competition were Issac Carter, Samantha Choate, Nathaniel Franklin, Kayla Garrison, Dayana Perez, Mason Pyles, Michael Ratliff, Aaran Taylor, and Chdara Wheat. - Shamarie Claiborne, Media Publicity Director, AC School District
