Dr. Neville George Callam to speak at CU on March 24

As part of Campellsville University's Baptist Heritage Lecture Series, Dr. Neville George Callam, general secretary and chief executive officer of the Baptist World Alliance, will speak at Campbellsville University at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 24 at the Banquet Hall in the Badgett Academic Support Center at 110 University Drive, Campbellsville.

He will also be speaking at the university's chapel service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 23 at 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville. Both events are free and open to the public.

Overstreet wins state award 4 years running

At the 10th Annual Kentucky Housing Lender Luncheon, held March 4, 2015, Darrell Overstreet was awarded, for the 4th consecutive year, the Overall Top Loan Officer. Darrell is owner of Key Mortgage Company located in Columbia, KY. Darrell has been working in partnership with KHC for over 30 years and said, "KHC plays a major role in providing financing for single-family residential properties and their staff is dedicated to helping folks obtain the American Dream of owning their own home. The passion and the willingness of the KHC staff to help and support the partnership with lenders is greatly appreciated."

Snow accumulation appeared to be about one, maybe 2 inches at 4:23amCT this morning two blocks from the historic Adair County Courthouse. Traffic on Jamestown Street at this time appears to be moving well. Temperatures at area Mesonet Stations ranged from 21 F to 25 F, with 22 being registered at the Green River Commerce Park Mesonet station in Columbia, KY.- CM
