Scenic Taylor Co., KY: Tulip time on Maple Trail

2015-04-12 - Campbellsville University, Campbellsville, KY - Photo ColumbiaMagazine.com staff photo.
Red tulips and white tulips theme the campus of Campbellsville University. This scene is at the entrance to the Maple Trail and overlooks historic Stapp Lawn with Stapp Hall in the background. The lawn is aesthetic and functional. Students and visitors enjoy picnics on the treehouse deck, and the giant statuary hewn from giant tree trunks. The statuary can be at one time stylistic and a bit amusing, and on the other, deeply spiritual and symbolic. - EW
