Associate Publishers Exchange Gifts at WWNI
2015-04-03 - Waggener-Walker Newspapers, Inc, 107 N Reed Street, Columbia, KY - Photo WWNI photo. Bill Beard, left, stopped in most days at The Daily Statesman, most to share wisdom and give advice, but on this special occasion he presented me with a most memorable gift, a pink dress shirt, for Christmas. Don't remember the year, but I think it was the early 1970's. Don't remember what I gave Bill, but it was probably something crass, like cash. He always accepted my less thoughtful gift with grace. A great friend. - Ed Waggener
