Charles Marshburn shoots 'em; Wendy Burt ID's Charles Marshburn shared this photo yesterday, and Wendy Butler Burt, identified it as a Celadine Poppy (Stylophorum diphyllum) also known as the Yellow Wood Poppy. "It grows in rich damp woods and is relatively common. It frequently is found in nurseries that sell native plant species (we have one right here in Columbia -- Ironweed Native Plant Nursery, www.ironweednursery.com. Celadine Poppies grow well in home gardens and flower over a long period of time," she writes.
