Left rear wheel comes off Adair County School Bus 2015-05-11 - Burkesville Road/KY 61, Columbia, KY - Photo submitted by Pamela Bailey. Pamela Bailey sent this photo of the Adair County School Bus which lost two tires on KY 61 S this morning, and was concerned that she did not receive word of the incident until after her son reached the Adair County District campus and accessed the campus wi-fi be able to send her a message and let her know about the incident. She has praise for a hero, the bus driver Johnny, who guided the bus safely off the road; but wants the district to provide quicker information to parents when events such as this one occur. None of the children were injured and they were all transferred to another bus and arrived at school without further incident. The bus is being taken out of service until the source of the problem is ascertained, Superintendent Alan Reed said in a statement today.
