Kevin Rodgers is in charge of a delightful ad hoc kitchen at the Hwy 551 Auction House, in the Egypt Community of Adair County. The only time the food stand is open is when there are auctions, and during those times, many, we suspect, attend for his signature pinto beans seasoned with country ham & cornbread, hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, drinks and his homemade no bake cookies, above, and the fun of watching the sale from the comfort of padded church pews, as anything else.
