Canoeing on the South Fork of the Little Barren 2015-05-18 - Metcalfe County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, CM photo. Traveling through North Metcalfe County from Knob Lick to Beechville, Saturday, May 16, we met up with this group loading up their canoes after a trip on the South Fork of the Little Barren River. They were with Boy Scout Troop 747 from Glasgow, members are from Metcalfe and Barren Counties, and they are experienced in canoing. Scoutmaster Tony Walker said had they put in on the river at the Toby Hill Road bridge. They ended their trip near the historic "Cut".
