Tom Brock, Alice Graves arrive with Milltown totals

2015-05-20 - Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, CM photo.
First time poll worker Tom Brock - but veteran Adair County Road Department employee - and Alice Graves, arrived with the Milltown precinct vote, the only Adair County precinct which votes at a Greensburg address. The voting place is in Clay Ridge, KY, at Garrison Construction Company. Brock was asked by County Clerk Lisa Greer how the day went and he beamed assurance that seemed to say it was a piece of cake compared to his day job. The precinct was also best for Hal Heiner, who had the backing of the Larry Legg organization. Heiner received 43 votes to Jamie Comer's 51 votes, and 26 for eventual (for the nonce, at least) statewide winner Matt Bevin. Democrat Jack Conway had 85% of the vote from Milltown.
