Two Russell County, KY drivers injured on LBN, Columbia, KY

Two people were injured during an early morning collision, Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at 6:53amCT, on the Cumberland Parkway, just west of Columbia, KY.A 2011 Nissan being operated by 28 year old Rosemary Deboise of Russell Springs, KY, was traveling west bound just past exit 49. Deboise told deputies that she dropped her phone and was attempting to pick it up when she struck a 2001 Chevrolet and trailer in the rear. The 2001 Chevrolet was operated by 48 year old Lanky Graves of Russell Springs, KY.

Sprinting to the finish line

Teddy Lea (far right) gave it his all on the homestretch of the Boys Middle School race at the Franklin Invitational Cross Country meet in Lexington this past Saturday. Teddy finished the 3000 meter race in 13:49.36, and helped his Shelby West Middle School team finish in 4th place overall. Teddy is the son of Karen Loy Lea and Ted Lea of Shelbyville, KY, and nephew of Marsha and Tex Reddick of Columbia, KY.
