All Billy Humphress has to do is look out his window at his Vermont Weather Stick to see what the weather is. Above, with the stick bowing downward, it's raining. The stick, seen jjust to the middle right of the front porch post, has a hummingbird on it, but the woods natural qualities, not the weight of the tiny bird, causes the weather stick to change shape. Beshear joined Campbellsville and Taylor County community officials to celebrate Site Selection magazine naming Kentucky the top state for economic development projects per capita last year. The nationally acclaimed publication also ranked the Campbellsville area among the nation’s top micropolitan areas in business creation.
