New signage enhances 100 Block of Burkesville Street

One nifty item, for someone in the Adair County School District Surplus Auction this morning, is this foot cranked potters wheel. Mark Parnell, left, demonstrated how it works as Adair County Maintenance Director David Jones looks on. It's just part of a big auction which starts at 9amCT, this morning, Wednesday, June 17, 2015, in the parking lot behind the Central Office, 1204 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Maintenance Department personnel have been bringing out the smaller (or perhaps 'stealable' if left overnight) items since 4:30amCT with many times the items listed in the announcement, including workable copiers, behind Parnell and Jones.
