Kentucky Clouds: 29 Jun 2015 - Impending storm - III

2015-06-30 - From Lindsey Hill, Columbia, KY - Photo by George Kolbenschlag.
This cloud scene is my favorite of the three in this 29 Jun 2015 collection. It not only allows great moments of imagining - one can construe a fluffy Unicorn Cat in Hissing Mode in the lower gray storm cloud - but also the photographer's trademark sky blues. The cloud captures are surely worth an exhibit in a local art gallery or museum. - Ed Waggener

Question for the fungiologists

2015-06-29 - Shelbyville, KY - Photo by Pen.
Recent rains have brought a number of interesting mushrooms out of hiding. We can't tell whether this is two varieties, or a single type of mushroom in two different stages of "bloom." Identification is welcomed. - PEN
